Just stumbled into this site. Found the parents of my Grandfather and his other siblings. Some of them I remember and knew well and some I have only heard of.
I am the first granddaughter of Charles “Doc” Melton and Thelma Melton. They had 4 sons, William Edward, James Howard, Charles Ray, and John Michael. I am the oldest of 3 daughters from William Edward and Marion Richards, born in Kinder, Louisiana.

I am the great-granddaughter of Archie and Maudie Jordan of Jordan Hill. I have a picture of Maudie taken in 1905 that I am having restored. She was 5yrs. old then. You have a great web site.
