I am the first granddaughter of Charles “Doc” Melton and Thelma Melton. They had 4 sons, William Edward, James Howard, Charles Ray, and John Michael. I am the oldest of 3 daughters from William Edward and Marion Richards, born in Kinder, Louisiana.
