Hi, I have been researching the Guin Family for several years. I believe I connect to the Louisiana Guins at the Levi Guin of Fayette, County AL. Born in late 1700 – moved to Fayette County. He (by my account)is the father of James P. Guin (along with Jason and several others). James P is my greatgrandfather, father of Rutherford P Hays Guin. I would like more information on Levi’s death, date and where, if someone knows. The Levi buried in the military Cemetery in Memphis is too young to be the Levi I refer to.
